"OPM3 -third edition provides guidelines for improving organisational project management within organisations. It defines the OPM3 model, which is comprised of the OPM3 Construct and OPM3 framework activities and processes. This edition of OPM3 expands, reinforces, and clarifies many of the concepts presented in the previous editions. The increasing pace of change combined with the rising complexity of the economy and global competition requires executives to reexamine their strategy to fulfill stakeholder expectations and meet market needs. This refinement of strategy requires a new focus on product development, operational effectiveness improvements, and customer service enhancement.
